Kirkwood, California – Snowboarders Casey Lucas and Charlie Hoch have won the 2012 North Face Masters of Snowboarding at Kirkwood Mountain Resort. Both riders were ripping through the venue at high speeds on their Never Summer Industries snowboards.Casey Lucas and Charlie Hoch Win The North Face Masters at Kirkwood Charlie is a Never Summer team rider and hopefully Casey will be on the team program soon as she deserves some industry love!!

Hoch came to Kirkwood after spending last season on the sidelines with a knee injury. Talking with Charlie all summer and throughout the winter I knew he was hungry for a win. I’m so stoked he was able to throw down in Kirkwood. This was Charlies second podium spot while competing on the North Face Masters tour and certainly will not be his last.

Casey Lucas used her home field advantage at Kirkwood to dominate the ladies finals. Before the event Lucas was quotes as saying “I prefer to go fall line and fast” and she did just that by charging into a double set of airs at the top of the Cirque. And finishing off by riding fast and fluid throughout the variable conditions in the venue, even making powder turns through the avalanche chunder.
