Colorado Airshow Rocky Mountain Regional Fly-In Above Photo Mike HardakerWestminster, CO Pilots are getting high in the Rockies during the 31st annual Rocky Mountain Regional Fly In and Colorado Sport Aviation AirShow taking place at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport. Aviators and fans from across the state of Colorado have converged on the small landing strip to watch thrilling Aerobatics, Pyrotechnics, stunt flying, fireworks and much more.

The Rocky Mountain Fly In and Airshow takes place Saturday August 28th and Sunday August 29th, 20100. On Saturday night, following the Twilight Air Show the evening will finish with a grand fireworks display to honor our past and present men and women in uniform around the world. And to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport.

The Commemorative Air Force Consolidated B-24A Liberator Ol’ 927 Bomber will be on hand to take fans for flights!! The B-24A is one of only two flying in the world today, come be apart of history! Flight availability is limited and sure to sell out, people interested in rides are encouraged to purchase in advance. Tickets for the 30 minute flight are $450.00. Imagine it’s 1944 your far from home, climbing in altitude with temps reaching a balmy 30 degrees below zero, flying missions to defend freedom….
