Denver, CO The Green Route Festival took place this past weekend celebrating Denver’s Green Route, featuring more than 50 of the areas favorite Eco music, food, arts & culture organizations! Also at the festival was Laurie Maves, doing her live paintings and an incredible fire dancing display that energized the crowd once the sun set.

The Festival encouraged attendees to “go green” and ride their bikes to downtown. Free bicycle parking stations were setup and local pedi cabs were offering free rides. Various vendors had Eco friendly clothing, products, and even a Eco-friendly printing and technologies company on display. Including local solar companies on-site to make people aware of the potential for free or low cost energy.

The Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design gave away a $100 gift card to Watercourse Foods, a local favorite among bike messengers, vegans and food lovers alike!!
