Jonny Lang Played Thunder in the Rockies
Jonny Lang Played Thunder in the Rockies.
As everyone was getting used to their seats on the grass in the amphitheater, two local Colorado bands opened for Jonny Lang, getting the crowd all warmed up for the young blues singer who brought thunder to the Thunder in the Rockies rally in Loveland on Aug 31, 2012. He played some of his well known hits such as Red light, Leaving to stay, Still Raining.
He also payed tribute to the great Muddy Waters and Stevie Wonder by playing some of their songs. He played an acoustical version of Lie to me, finishing the song off with his band joining him. After an awesome performance the band came back out, and performed an encore that had everyone dancing. Everyone in the band performed their own solos during the encore, and Jonny said he was having so much fun he didn’t want it to end.
