Rascal Flatts Hits a High Note with Denver Fans
Denver, Colorado – The Pop-Country powerhouse trio Rascal Flatts came too Colorado for yet another sold-out performance at Comfort Dental Amphitheatre on September 8th, 2012. The Rascals have been topping the charts since their debut album simply entitled Rascal Flatts back in 2000 and during the “Changed Tour, Rascal proves they have plenty of steam left. The Flatts are still riding high on success with their most recent release Changed, a new chapter for Rascal Flatts that has given them yet another number 1 single “Banjo†in the Country Charts and has been tearing up the airwaves.
At 9:30, the houselights dropped and the crowd of 19,000 let out a roar as Rascal Flatts took to the stage for the next 90 minutes. The Flatts opened up with a choice cut from their most recent release, Changed. The Flatts even took request from the audience during the middle of the set, with the only exception of “no Brad Paisley or Jason Aldean†stated lead vocalist Gary LeVox. Rascal Flatts even invited former Denver Broncos quarter back John Elway up on-sage for a rendition of “Life is a Highway. While it was a nice gesture, Elway should have left the singing to the professionals.
Flatts covered a span of hits with over eight studio albums worth of material, a set-list that fans sang and danced to that included “Banjo Playâ€, “Summer Nights†,“Fast Cars and Freedomâ€, “These Days†,“Come Wake Me Up†,“Hot in Here†,“Unstoppable†,“Mayberry†, “Prayin For Daylight†, “Stand†,“Why Wait†, “Lean on Me†(cover Jay D) , “Open Arms†,“Broken Road†, “Gangâ€, “Life†(Tom Cochrane cover featuring John Elway) “Here’s to You†and “What Hurts the Most†Rascal Flatts came back after a brief absence to perform with the tours supporting band that included a rendition of “American Band†cover with Eden’s Edge, Eli Young Band and Little Big Town.

Production was stellar with an elaborate with strands of lights that formed three columns while monitors and an L.E.D screen broadcasted the concert for fans seated back in the venue. The energy was high From Rascal Flatts and was well received by the audience.
