Three hours, Three sets and Hank III.
Boulder, Colorado – On September 4th, Hank Williams III played a rowdy rebel rock and punk show at the Boulder Theatre. Son of legendary country star Hank Williams Jr. and grandson of Hank Williams Senior, Hank III proves he can stand on both of his legs without support.
With no opening act, Hank III took to the stage with his band of misfits in front of over 900 fans of rock, country and punk. The first set consisted of Hank III twist on rebel country, the second set was punk and by the time it was time for his 3rd set, ¼ of the crowd had left, proving that hank can outlast his fans.
Hank III also delivered some stories behind his music and denounced pop-country music. Past the halfway mark in the first set the, band played “I’ll Never Get Out of Here Alive” by Hank Williams Sr.
For the second set, a video came over the monitor as ½ the band left and for the third, Hank III gave a doom/death metal performance.
Hank III delivers a show with no thrills and no BS. Fans of almost any type of music can enjoy Hank III and for the price of a case of beer, they get to see a concert for over three hours..
