HYBRID BINDINGPACK REVIEW

Carrying backpacks while snowboarding can be burdensome, especially if the rider wants to carry only a drink or a camera and a few snacks. Attaching a bag to the board may seem bulky but the Hybrid Bindingpack is small, compact and light of weight.
It attaches to the board through the male binding straps, the grooved pieces that slide into the ratchets. The pack can be attached to the board either on the nose or tail in front of the bindings but is recommended between the feet and behind the front foot for the best control and ease of riding. Some bindings may need to reposition the male binding strap with the female but this won’t hinder one’s riding at all, the boot will still stay snug in the binding straps.
The pack can carry small to medium sized water bottles, the large 32 oz. Gatorade bottles or a half-liter thermos bottle for hot drinks. On a very cold day, the cold liquids may freeze so one should either drink their beverage early in the day or attempt to wrap it in something to keep it warm.
If one is carrying valuables such as a camera, the pack comes with two foam pads to sandwich the camera between. The pack can hold any handheld camera or camcorder, although the rider should demonstrate discretion with catching air and landing with valuables in the pack.
The interior of the bag has a strap with a carabiner inside to further secure items that can attach to it, as well as an exterior buckle on the zipper to ensure it stays closed during the ride.
The pack is snug behind the front foot and doesn’t slide or flop around with sharp turns. Popping with the pack is surprisingly stable but depending on the load will add a smidgen of weight but not enough to truly affect the pop or ollie.
The Hybrid Bindingpack is an item of preference for those who’d prefer to carry a few items or a drink bottle on the board. One benefit is the rider won’t have to take off a backpack to grab a drink or get a camera out for a photo, it will be right at their feet. This is a lightweight bag that has a minimal effect on one’s riding and will ensure ease of carrying for whatever small items one may need on the mountain.
