DC Exotex Snowboard Jacket Review

The first time I put on the DC EXOTEX 10,000 Jacket, I felt a warming sensation. Zipping up the jacket it became one with me. I moved around the store bending and whirling as if I was on the mountain.

Looking over the jeti jacket; I swiftly discovered all the pockets for the first time, what’s with all these new jackets and a million pockets? Do you really need them?

But once again DC nailed the DC Exotex Snowboard Jacket. Unmatched waterproofing, I’ve never had it freeze up, even in the coldest conditions. A wind-breaking machine for all situations. Complete with power shirt, pull cords, hood and I-pod/cell phone holder, the DC EXOTEX 5,000 Jacket it has it all.

Be it a park rat or a big mountain rider this jack has no restrictions. I love riding this jacket in the resort riding park, or navigating my way in the back country.

Design: The DC EXOTEX program was designed for maximum protection against extreme weather conditions like the one’s we routinely see here at the Mountain Weekly Ranch Testing Facility. The layered fabrics and lamination on the DC EXOTEX Jacket create the highest levels of waterproofing and breathability while maintaining a super light weight and flexibile coat.

Waterproof Rating: The DC EXOTEX 10,000 series provides simple, excellent protection against wet weather. The DC 5,000 series garments have a 10,000MM waterproof rating and inner layer, which help trap body heat, while allowing perspiration to escape.
