Slash is hitting the road with a new band ripping guitar solos thru old GNR hits, Velvet Revolver songs and new material from his recent album.

Slash or Saul Hudson as his mother calls him, has a new album with a who’s who of rock guest stars including, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, Duff McKagan of Guns N Roses, Ozzy Osbourne of Black Sabath, Fergie, Chris Cornell, Myles Kennedy, Iggy Pop and many more amazing guest musicians that Slash hand picked for the album. In Denver Slash, Myles Kennedy and the rest of the band tried out a new song called “Do it For the Kids” announcing to the crowd this was the first time played and to bear with them. The boys are modest as the song was loud, rocking and felt like it had been played for years..

On tour with Slash are Myles Kennedy (lead vocals), Bobby Schneck (rhythm guitar), Todd Kerns (bass guitar) and Brent Fitz (drums). The band really seemed to know the old Guns N Roses catalog of songs, including the more recent Slash band project called Velvet Revolver. The crowd was younger then expected but again this shows Rock-N-Roll is here to stay. It really brought a smile to my face to see kids rocking out to music that moved me in my teens, and still continues to do so many years later.

This might be the close we ever get to seeing Guns N’ Roses in the near future.. On a side note Slash filled for divorce 24 hours before the Denver concert. Being the true performer that he was the crowd was oblivious..
