Snow Returns to Colorado
Crested Butte, Colorado – Your snow dances, piles of burned skis and saturated livers all to thank for snow finally returning to town. After a slow start to winter La Nina is kicking up version 2.0 bringing rounds of snow to the Rocky Mountains. Crested Butte is in a perfect spot to pickup storms from the north and south as the location in the center on the Central Mountains seems to just amplify the snow.
While the other major resorts in Colorado picked a couple inches, the Crested Butte Mountain Resort received 6″ of light density “blower” powder. Best of all you know the slopes were empty aside from locals chomping at the bits to ski and ride pow. Looking for face shots, get off I-70 and head to Colorado’s last true ski town!!
