VAIL, CO – Next time you are skiing or riding Vail and looking for a place to grab lunch stop by the 10th, better yet plan a head and make reservations. The new restaurant offers amazing food, in a classy atmosphere looking out towards the Gore Range. The 10th is located on Vail’s ski slopes at Mid-Vail near chairs 3 and 4; the name is a nod to the 10th Mountain Division.10th Restaurant Opens on Vail Mountain..

Everything on the menu is outstanding, I was invited up prior to the restaurant opening to photograph the food and sample the dishes. Here are a few items I would recommend, the Lamb and Elk Chili, Pheasant and Chicken Pot Pie, Veal Meatloaf, The Burger, French Dip, Fried Oysters and the Muscles with Truffle Fries. They also offer stuff for the kids it is a three course meal with veggies, classics like Peanut Butter and Jelly, Mac and Cheese, Pizza, Shrimp and the get a desert too.

Do yourself a favor and check out the 10th next time you are skiing at Vail. Employees get 50% off from Dec 1-15th, if you have a friend how works at the mountain ask them to go to lunch with you there.

Note the prices are more expensive than any of the other on hill restaurants, but the food quality is top notch and the prices are not out of this world.
