ASPEN, CO – Aspen was the place to be if you wanted to check out the hottest ski and board clothes, hob-knob with the elite and bounce from party to party with beautiful models. Most people don’t think of Colorado as a fashion Mecca, but Aspen Fashion Week is looking to change that.
Ski and snowboard fashion is a big part of Aspen Fashion Week with fashion shows by Rossignol, Kjus, Obermeyer and Neve Designs. All these companies have clothing that will keep you warm on the slopes but look way cooler than some steazy tall tees, tight pants or neon outerwear.
The Mountain Weekly was lucky enough to get some photos from famed photographer Riccardo Savi. He has been shooting events in Aspen for years and is in the process of relocating to Washington D.C, to cover more hard-hitting news.
If you missed Aspen Fashion Week this year make a point to check it out next year. It takes place the third week of March, with Aspen Mountain as the backdrop for some of the fashion shows, you can’t go wrong.
