LOUISVILLE, CO – The Drew Emmitt Band performed a free outdoor concert Friday evening during the Louisville Street Faire. Louisville residents and Colorado bluegrass lovers all joined together for a fun night of foot tapping music on Front Steet in downtown. The street faire is a great event for the all ages, especially families. The town has provided plenty of shaded areas to sit back and relax and watch the music. Great food and craft vendors from around the state, including a mobile chef cart from the owner of Jax’s in Boulder
The Drew Emmitt band consist of Drew Emmitt Lead Singer, Mandolin and Guitar player. Tyler Grant on acoustic Guitar, Eric Thorin playing a Stand Up Bass Guitar, Andy Thorn picking on the Banjo and Chris Misner on Drums
Louisville, CO was rated the #1 town in American to live in, during 2009 truly a great moment for the city. At one point during the show I mentioned to a friend “they sure don’t have this sort of music in the town I am from”. I don’t think I have ever seen a named band play in old town Seal Beach. This season the street faire has already had 7 Friday night concerts, what a great gift to giveback to the community. One of the highlights of the season was another free concert by the New Riders of the Purple Sage.
