The North Face Verto Jacket Review
Made of 100% nylon The North Face Verto Jacket works great for blocking wind up high in the mountains. The Verto also features a water repellent finish that keeps your skin dry in light rain showers. If it really starts to storm you will want to have another layer to throw over the Verto as this is more of a wind blocking piece.
The North Face Verto Jacket uses
Ideal users of The North Face Verto include climbers simply due to the weight and wind blocking power of the jacket. Fisherman will also really enjoy the breatability and most importantly the flexibility that comes when wearing the Verto, you literally will forget the jacket is on.
Personally I have found this to be a great piece for long mountain bike rides. There are those days when you leave the trail head and the weathers nice only to return a few hours later to a full blown storm. The North Face Verto allows me to stay dry riding in the rain without feeling clammy.
Pros: Featherlight weight, affordable price point
Cons: Made in China, only 1 pocket
I would highly recommend The North Face Verto Jacket as a great 3 season piece for anyone that spends a good bit of time recreating in the high alpine.
