Lib Tech Darker Series Review

Lib tech Darker Series Review

The Lib Tech Darker Series steps things up to blow the hinges of everything you thought a freestyle board was capable of. Behold, in the absence of light, this board was born to rule the underworld of shredding.

I have been riding this board around Baker and Crystal Mountain and wanted to give some feedback on this sick shred machine. See below :

Lib Tech Darker Series Review

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any more sinister, the Lib Tech Darker Series snowboard descended from the shadows to deliver lights out performance. That’s right, the Dark Series has been a staple of the Lib Tech lineup for several years now, and this is the season they chose to take things to a new level of awesome.

This shred stick was designed with aggressive riders in mind. A stiff flex and unique C3 BTX profile make it the ultimate weapon for advanced rippers. That C3 BTX shape puts a mild amount of rocker between your feet and a whole heck of a lot of control from tip to tail.

As a camber dominant Banana, you are able to experience supreme carving abilities and edge hold that is exponentially more effective thanks to those Magne-Traction sides that give you multiple points of contact.

The Lib Tech Darker Series has been engineered to crank up both power and precision to an all-time high. It has loads of pop so that you can explode off any feature with truly impressive ollie strength, but also has a smooth nimbleness to it that lets you dissect technical terrain with authority. A true twin symmetrical shape delivers consistently high performance when riding regular or switch.

Fearless on massive takeoffs and unfamiliar with the word ‘hesitant’ when it comes to dropping huge cliffs, this assertive deck never takes no for an answer.

Bombproof materials and construction processes make the Darker Series a board that will last you well beyond a single season serving. A super tough base can take a legit beating while remaining fast, and it also has excellent wax retention.

UHMW sidewalls would be the correct material of choice if one were to build a bomb shelter because those things are straight up nasty tough. And even with all the sweet technology, Lib Tech Packed into this piece, it somehow remains impressively lightweight.

If you define yourself as an aggressive snowboarder and go hard at the gnarliest terrain, you will want to make the move to the dark side. Complete control and absolute authority will be yours when you mount up with the Lib Tech Darker Series Snowboard.

Another solid suggestion for a big mountain charger like you would be the Hot Knife I reviewed earlier this year. Check out the Lib Tech Hot Knife Review for more C3 BTX aggressive stoke
