The Burton Rampant Snowboard Boots, one of the lowest profile boots on the market, are super comfy right out of the box. I never thought I was a soft boot kind of guy, but the Burton Rampant have changed my mind. The boots use a regular lacing system with loops for the laces located on the inside of the cuff, which is easy and makes for a clean look.
The Burton Rampant is a very simple boot, exactly they way I like it. Not a big bling type of guy, I let my snowboarding do the talking. I have the all-black model and it looks like next season Burton will again be sticking to a simple color scheme.
burton rampant review after 100 days..
With an estimated retail cost around $200 or less, this boot is a great value. I have used the Burton Rampant for hiking the back country, riding lines in AK, shredding the park and they have not let me down.
I have to say, however, that after riding the last 4 months (100 days), the boots are finally done. That is, with countless miles of hiking through all types of snow, dirt, mud, etc. If you are a resort rider your mileage will vary, but I wouldn’t count on the Burton Rampant lasting much longer than 100 days.
