I needed a new pair of headphones and I decided to go with the UrbanEars Platten Headphones. As you probably noticed, these headphones aren’t made for snowboarding. I personally don’t like to listen to music while I’m riding so I opted for a bulkier pair that would provide an excellent way to listen to jams while on flights, walking around town, and browsing the internet.
UrbanEars Plattan 2 Headphones Review
I was amazed at how sturdy the Urbanears Plattan Headphones were when I first pulled them out of their packaging. I’ve had bad experiences with poor-quality headphones, so I am always extra nervous when I buy a pair online without first seeing them in person. They are comfortable, don’t slip and slide, and I could wear them with a baseball cap, a beanie, or just my plain head with no problems. In addition, they have an attached microphone so that you can hook them up to your phone.
These UrbanEars Headphones definitely held up in the performance department. The sound quality was clear and crisp, and this made it hard to take them off. The bass is strong but not overpowering, and the higher-notes are never shrill sounding. They aren’t the absolute best headphones available, but they are above and beyond anything else that you can cop for the same price.
The reason that I bought these because they look cool. It sounds silly, but I view my headphones as a regular accessory like a watch or sunglasses so I want them to look good. The UrbanEars Plattan Headphones come in a multitude of colors and they all come with a matte finish. In my opinion, this is what makes them shine in the style department.
These headphones are sick! I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a decently-priced pair of headphones. The sound quality is excellent, they look dope, and they hold up to some abuse. I actually got my sister to pick up a pair of the UrbanEars Plattan Headphones ($39.99) and she loves them as well.
