Worlds Best Skiers Take on the Legendary Birds of Prey Downhill

BEAVER CREEK, CO – Beaver Creek World Cup ski racing returned to Beaver Creek Resort. The first race of the event was the Men’s Birds of Prey Giant Slalom, an event that combines downhill skiing and slalom gates. Skiers on course were flying at speeds up to 70 mph. Add flat light, and dumping snow to the mix and you have a recipe for exciting ski racing.

Mike Hardaker grew up surfing and snowboarding in Orange County and followed his love of surfing to Hawaii before eventually moving to the mountains to concentrate on snowboarding.
