Infinity X1 Headlamp 650/750 Lumen Review

This is a rechargeable headlamp that puts out 750 lumens with a lithium ion rechargeable battery or it can be used with 3 triple A batteries giving you options for power. The Infinity X1 hybrid headlamp offers 8 different light modes, is lightweight and durable.

Settings

The rechargeable battery fully charges in 3 hours. It puts out an impressive 36 hours on the “ultra light” setting , which is only 10 lumens. On the “Spot and Flood” setting which is max power of 750 lumens it will last for an hour and a half. You can find a sweet spot between battery life and lumen power with the choice of 8 settings and the ability to dim each setting.

The Infinity X1 hybrid has 8 different light modes including spot light, flood light, peripheral flood light, and red light. All of these modes can be combined and used to produce the exact amount of visibility you need. This headlamp throws a 88 meter beam of light in spot light mode and provides a wide view in flood light mode.

Battery Life

The Infinity X1 is the answer to camping. Going out for a night or two the battery has plenty of life for an evening around camp. If you plan on staying longer pack a charger, or 3aaa batteries for backup. I recently used this on a couple river trips, and it held up great. With an IPX8 rating it can withstand 30 minutes of full submersion in 3 meters of water.

I used a solar charger/ battery bank to keep the headlamp charged throughout a 6 day trip on the water and never worried about battery life while using it every night.
