adidas Terrex Agravic Review
The adidas Terrex Agravic Shoes are designed to run, light and fast on just about any terrain you can throw at them. Find out how the adidas Outdoor Men’s Terrex Agravic Shoes performed in my review below:
Continental Bike Tire Tread
What do you get when you combine a legacy of great footwear from adidas with the tried and true rubber from the Continental bike tire company? I am pleased to introduce you to the adidas Outdoor Men’s Terrex Agravic Trail Running Shoe.
Weighing in at just under .7 lb (315 g) per shoe the Agravic is uber lightweight, super fast and very dependable on the trail. Toss in adidas epic Boost technology and you will be floating, bouncing and dancing your way up and down the mountain in no time.
What I like the best about these shoes is the distance they allow you to cover. On my first ever run testing the adidas Outdoor Men’s Terrex Agravic Shoe I ended up doubling my normal running distance, my feet were in constant flow and I just wanted to keep going. “Run Forrest, Run”
Although these shoes are not waterproof, adidas does offer the Men’s Terrex Agravic in a GTX version that would be even better for running through puddles and small streams. That being said I have yet to find somewhere these shoes can’t and won’t take me, even through water.

adidas Terrex Agravic Fit
When you first put these shoes on and adjust the tongue into place, very quickly it becomes apparent these shoes are meant to move with your feet, not against them. The EVA tongue is basically like a piece of wet-suit material that offers optimal comfort and flexibility. If your running and your feet are not always straight ahead, you will really dig the way this shoe follows your natural movements.
Adidas Terrex Agravic Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Lightweight design for fast running
- Adidas Boost technology for comfortable running
- Follows natural movements for optimal comfort
Cons:
- Not waterproof
- May not suit all running preferences
Overall Impression
I get a lot of running shoes to test throughout the year. When I am not working and just out running for fun (and my own sanity, my dogs as well), I prefer my somewhat bright adidas Outdoor Men’s Terrex Agravic Shoe. I tested out the Core Black/Bright Yellow (BB0961) colorway. I dig that these shoes offered up a few fun colors, a little darkness, and most importantly, an incredibly reliable trail shoe.

With the combination of bomber Continental rubber soles, adidas Boost technology, and a breathable sandwich mesh liner, you can rest assured that the adidas Outdoor Men’s Terrex Agravic Shoe ($160) will be one of the most comfortable, responsive, and incredible trail running shoe you will ever have the pleasure of running in.
