Himiway C1 – You Child’s Favorite Toy They Don’t Have Yet

When Himiway created their first kids e-bike, the C1 E-Bike, they must have been thinking of one thing — creating the greatest holiday gift a parent can get their adventurous kid. This is more than just another toy guaranteed to make a splash and then gather dust; the C1 is a mode of transportation, a tool for exploration, a way to let your boy or girl feel the wind on their face as they cruise down the highway, down the street, or down the road.

It’s not just a bike; it makes the kid feel like they’re cruising down the road on a motorcycle but considerably safer, with more control. The second the boy opened it, he wanted to put it together and after a quick assembly, boom, he was riding by headlamp. I mean it’s the real deal. Here’s what I’m talking about:

So let’s just reiterate this: the Himiway C1 is an electric bike for kids.  To start there’s a 10Ah Samsung LG battery. The battery can do about 45 to 50 miles on a single charge. Of course that varies based on whether they’re climbing or revving up to 7, 13, or even 15 mph based on the three speed modes your kid can toggle on the easy to use accelerator console.

This Himiway Kids E-Bike comes with a 350W geared hub motor that powers the bike to keep them rolling to their little heart’s content while you sit there and enjoy your coffee, or maybe grab your own bike to keep up. My partner even followed him in her car as he rode it proudly to the grandparents’ house for holiday dinner.

How’s does the Himiway C1 Ride?

Luckily the 16 x 3” Kenda Fat Tires can handle any element, including dirt roads and a trace of snow on the ground. Plus the super-solid frame and big, comfortable seat makes it probably the most stable kids’ bike I’ve ever seen. But enough of the company specs. What did the kid think?

What’s Great About the Himiway C1 Is it’s Light Enough for a Kid to Move Around | Photo Ryan Ariano Mountain Weekly News

When I first opened the bike I was blown away. The c1 was so easy and quick to build, and it came with a rubber duck. The duck squeaks and it has the best helmet and the gold chain was so drippy. The sunglasses have a diamond. The bike has a bell …. Ding ding! It also has a really good flashlight that the duck can sit on. And the seat pad on the bike is really comfortable.

I was so excited I couldn’t wait to ride the C1. Yay! The brakes are really great, I was going too fast, so I had to stop and it was so smooth. It is really light so you can carry it up the stairs to your house (and I’m only 10). The battery is great and the C1 comes partly charged so I rode it around my neighborhood the night I first got it. It is electric so it’s quiet enough that it won’t wake your neighbors up. And it comes with a kickstand. And then I recharged it and the battery on the C1 charges really fast.

There are 3 speed modes. Mode 1 is a nice one to take your time and relax. In mode 1 it can go up to 7 miles per hour. I went mode 2, it was so fast, I couldn’t wait to get better to get to mode 3. When I took it in a little snow it handled the snow like a champ. It won the “look” show and it also won the “feel” show. It is so smooth.

The tires are great for pavement but also good on dirt. I was gonna make a hard turn, then spun out, but since the bike was so sturdy I didn’t fall.

I was in a race car, that’s what it felt like. I yelled over and over “this is so much fun.” I was scared at first. Then when I hopped on it and started driving it that all went away. As I got better I didn’t feel scared at all. The handle bars give good grip and awesome control. This is truly the best electric bike I have seen or ridden, and I’m so glad it’s mine!

Himiway C1 Kids E-Bike Pros:

  • Fun and Exciting: Kids love the look and feel of riding the electric bike.

Overall Impression

The Himiway C1: More than a toy. Ethan literally couldn’t put his new Himiway C1 E-Bike ($799.99) down for about a week, and rides it about once every other day, whether he has somewhere to go to or not. He rides it to his friends’ house. To his gramps’ house. To everywhere else. He’s excited to ride it to school.

Listen, kids get, like, hundreds of gear every year. But the Himiway C1 is the one they’re going to love on a whole other level. The Himiway C1 is more than a toy. It’s a taste of freedom and adventure that will last for years to come.
