My biggest reluctance to trying the Gordini Forge heated gloves was the perceived effort required to deal with the heating element. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it is to use these gloves.

The initial setup involves connecting the gloves via the app, which automatically senses how warm you like the gloves. After that, the gloves sense your hand and automatically turn on, making them a breeze to use. The heat felt great when wearing the gloves and wasn’t overpowering. However, I did not see a manual option to control the temperature within the app, and I found the app a bit confusing. Thankfully, you only need to use it once for setup.

Build Quality

The build quality of the Forge Gordini Heated Gloves is exceptional. The materials used are high-quality, and they feel great on your hands. I found the synthetic leather palms easily grip most things. The gloves are have a 10k waterproof-breathable ripstop shell with a GORE-TEX insert and I can testify they are very waterproof. While the gloves are heavier than normal gloves due to the batteries, I quickly forgot about the extra weight once I started wearing them.

Charge + Features

Gordini has been the king of winter gloves sense I can remember and knows what features are useful. I love the leashes with the flexible wrist strap. They look and feel sleek and work like a charm. The wrist tightener and gaiter were a good size and made for perfect fit with winter jackets. I’ve gotten into the habit of charging the gloves after each use, and they have lasted all day on a single charge, which is impressive.
