Ombraz armless sunglasses. The only sunglasses that are held on with just a rope. I have seen these popping up on social media over the last couple years, and was excited to give them a try. I tend to wear sunglasses for 10plus hours a day, and usually by the end of the mission, the top of my ear hurts from the stiff plastic arm of the sunglasses. Ombraz is the answer.

Enter the Ombraz Teton. A modular sunglass that can look cool on the town, and still perform in the mountains. The first thing you will notice is the rope system that holds the glasses to your face. With a quick slide adjuster you can easily find the perfect fit, and ensure a safe and secure placement. Made from recycled Japanese nylon this is simple and lightweight.

The optics on the Ombraz Teton is provided by Ziess- who produces some of the best optics in the market. Giving you multiple options to choose from, you can find a color and protection level that suits your needs. Ranging from polarized to non polarized and even an RX option. These are the real deal.

The Ombraz Teton also has a very nice design for the glacier side protection on these sunglasses. With a quick hook and closure system these glacier panels keep sun out from the sides, yet the ventilation that’s built in keeps you from fogging up. I used these on a huge mission in the Tetons, hiking up a steep couloir I never had to worry about fog. From the brightest sun to the shady couloir the polarized brown lenses were perfect.

The added accessories for the Ombraz Teton is what makes it unique. When not hitting the mountains or the water- pop off the side shields and go for style. The added accessory pouch has a very cool design with small flaps allowing you to pack the glasses with or without the side shields attached, as well as a built in cleaning cloth.
