The VTOMAN X7 is a versatile tool that packs a surprising punch. Over the years I’ve begin to understand we should all expect the unexpected and a small amount of preparation can go a long way. The VTOMAN X7 is that small amount of preparation and I was eager to test its capabilities as both a tire inflator and a jump starter.
Ease of Use: Mostly Intuitive
My initial impression was positive. The device feels robust and well-built, the layout is generally logical and for a tire pump and jump starter it’s quite compact. I decided to challenge myself and attempt to set up both the tire pump and jump starter functions without consulting the manual. I got most of the way with both but had to quickly consult the manual for which button to press to initiate the jump and the inflation.
Performance: Reliable and Efficient
Once I discovered the final buttons the VTOMAN X7 went right to work. This compact little box was able to charge a battery and inflate a tire. Now if you’re like me you might be wondering about the cold weather performance. I left the VTOMAN X7 in my car for roughly a month with temps going as low as -20 and didn’t have any issues with the charge or function.
This little unit will remain with me wherever I go.
