Blundstone Leather All Terrain Boots Review
You won’t need another pair of boots.
Blundstone covers every base from lace up dress boots to steel toed boots for firefighters. Every boot in-between has the same features and feel that make Blundstones a staple in closets worldwide.
Blundstone All Terrain Boots
The #2055 is Blundstone’s all-terrain boot. The noticeable differences in this boot compared to their other models are also the features that make their designs so ubiquitous. In every Blundstone you get a rubber Vibram outsole. The #2055 however has a tread pattern with flex points that allow debris to be released from the sole as it bends.
The iconic pulltabs of the boot are securely sewn into the premium leather. Fresh out of the box, the leather and elastic are taught. As you break in the boot, the leather becomes worn in and soft, but not worn out. The elastic retains its shape well as the boot ages. I’ve had previous Blundstones for almost three years and while the leather has a nice worn feel and look, I’m still secured.

The elastic and seams are not weather sealed, but the leather provides good protection when things get wet. If you clean and treat the leather regularly, the boot will hold up for years to come. The footbed is also removable and washable. You can pick up Blundstone’s sheepskin liner for the winter.
Unfortunately, after just one winter I found my sheepskin liner peeling and ready to be replaced.
Overall Impession
The Blundstone 2055 isn’t a lot different from its counterparts and thats because quality and construction is top-notch across the board. If you’re new to the Blundstone brand, the #2055 All Terrain Chelsea Boots ($244.95) has what you need for a comfortable everyday boot that’s also ready to head off the beaten path.
