Euybike K6 Pro Max Dual Motor Review: The AWD All-Terrain Folding Beast

The e-bike arms race is officially in full swing, and Euybike is throwing a heavy-weight punch with the K6 Pro Max. This is our 6th time working with the brand, and we’ve watched them evolve from entry-level commuters to building what I can only describe as “two-wheeled tanks.”

After pushing this bike to its limits on snowy Teton trails and mountain side-slopes, one thing is clear: This isn’t just a folding bike; it’s an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) powerhouse designed for the rider who wants to go where others can’t.

The Dual Motor Powerhouse

The standout feature of the K6 Pro Max is the dual 1000W hub motors (3000W Peak). Having power at both the front and rear wheels essentially gives you AWD. This is a game-changer for loose dirt, gravel, and snow.

In our testing, we found the climbing power to be impressive, though you have to respect the physics. Because this is a heavy bike (88 lbs), there can be a slight lag when starting from a dead stop on a steep incline. However, once that AWD system engages and you gain momentum, it crawls up hills like a billy goat.

Pro Tip: Be careful with the power settings. I found that in PAS 5 with dual motors engaged off-road, the bike can be a handful. I recommend staying in PAS 3 for technical off-road sections to maintain control.

Suspension and Handling

Euybike didn’t skimp on the “Pro” build here. The K6 Pro Max features:

  • Dual Crown Front Fork: This provides massive stability and looks like it belongs on a downhill mountain bike.

  • Rear Shock: Combined with the 20×4″ Kenda fat tires, the ride is ultra-cushy.

  • The Trade-off: The double-crown fork limits the turning radius. Don’t expect to make tight 180-degree turns on narrow trails without a multi-point pivot.

The Secret Sauce: The Torque Sensor

Unlike many budget dual-motor bikes that use a basic cadence sensor (which can feel jerky), Euybike included a Torque Sensor. This makes the 3000W peak power feel natural. The bike “listens” to how hard you are pedaling. If you push hard, you get the jet-engine boost; if you ease off, the bike settles down. This eliminates “ghost pedaling” and makes the AWD power much more manageable on tricky terrain.

Battery and Tech

To feed two hungry motors, you need a big tank. The 52V 30Ah LG battery (1560Wh) is massive. Euybike claims 80 miles of range, but in real-world Teton conditions (hills and cold), we saw closer to 40-45 miles of “hard” riding—which is still very impressive for a dual-motor setup.

  • The Display: The full-color LCD is a nice touch and even includes a hidden USB port to charge your phone while navigating.

  • Brakes: With this much weight and power, you need stopping power. The Tektro hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotors were responsive and necessary.

A “Two-Person Lift” Kind of Bike

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room: the weight. At 88 lbs with the battery, this is a serious piece of machinery.

  • The Lift: This is a two-person lift into a truck bed.

  • The Rack: Do not try to put this on a standard trunk-mount rack. You will need a dedicated heavy-duty e-bike rack capable of handling 90+ lbs per tray.

  • The Fold: While it does fold, the K6 Pro Max is more about “compact storage” than “portability.” It’s a large, heavy mass once collapsed, making it better suited for an RV garage or a large SUV than a small apartment closet.

Who Is This For?

The K6 Pro Max is for the sporty explorer. If you’ve ever tried to navigate a slushy side-street in Jackson after a spring storm, you know a rear-drive bike just spins. The K6 Pro Max’s front motor pulls you through the muck where other bikes get bogged down.

  • The Hunter or Angler: Getting deep into forest service 2-track roads.

  • The All-Season Commuter: If you have to deal with snow or slush, AWD is your best friend.

  • The Fun-Seeker: Someone who wants a “Batmobile” aesthetic with enough torque to dominate gravel and dirt.

If you are looking for a light, nimble city bike to carry up three flights of stairs, look elsewhere. But if you want a beast underfoot that can handle the mountains, this is it.

The Euybike K6 Pro Max is a heavyweight contender in every sense of the word. It isn’t just a folding e-bike; it’s an AWD-equipped mountain explorer that trades portability for sheer power and rugged capability. By combining massive dual-motor torque with the refined “brain” of a torque sensor, Euybike has created a rig that feels natural on technical trails while still possessing the “tank-like” grit to pull through Wyoming slush and loose forest service dirt.

While its 88-lb frame means you’ll need a heavy-duty rack and a bit of muscle to transport it, the payoff is a stable, “Teton Tested” powerhouse that goes exactly where you point it. If you are looking for a nimble city commuter, look elsewhere—but if you want a beast that can dominate mountain side-slopes and all-season terrain, the K6 Pro Max is built for the job.
