When I was researching what brand of power station I wanted to upgrade to, Acevolt did not come up. Jackery, Ecoflow and Bluetti were on my radar. When I got offered to try the Acevolt Campower 700, I was happy to. The Acevolt 700 is the third power station that I have used and has been the best one by far.
Wattage
Immediately when I received the AceVolt 700 I started to research it. I found a very good YouTube breakdown of it that demonstrated its capabilities. It stood true to the specifications that AceVolt claims. A lot of power stations claim they have a specified amount of power but come up short by 100 watts or more. Power stations have become more and more popular versus conventional solar set ups. They are portable, they are easy to set up, and they have all the components of a solar system in one simple design. No need for a charge controller, big battery banks, wiring, and an inverter. All you need is your power station
Where to Use?
I live in an off grid community in Alaska where power stations actually aren’t that popular. Most people have conventional solar set ups. I love my AceVolt 700 though. It has a great design. I use it for many things from charging my Dewalt tools, to operating my water flosser and charging my toothbrush. Right now my computer is plugged into it while I am writing this article.
Charging Devices
The number 1 feature on the AceVolt is its LED screen. It displays your power consumption in real time, your battery life, and power input if you are receiving any. You can charge the power station while you use it which is a great feature also.
It has all your most common outputs, 100w USB-C, USB-A, 4 – AC outlets, 2 – DC outlets and a wireless charging feature on top. All of the USB outputs are fast charging which is nice. The overall look and design of the AceVolt 700 is pretty sweet. It has a nice carrying handle and a sharp green and black housing with an LED light on the front.
The only thing I didn’t get to test out was the solar charging ability. AceVolt did not supply me with a solar panel so I either charge it from my cigarette lighter in my truck or from my employers solar set up which both work really well. I did try to charge it with a Renogy solar panel and it was not compatible That would be the only downside to power stations I have found this far, you must purchase there solar panels which can cost as much as the power station itself.

- Requires purchasing manufacturer’s solar panels
- Solar panel compatibility limitations
Overall Impression
Overall, I would highly recommend the AceVolt 700 Campower Station ($699.00) as great small/medium power station. It is amazing how long its battery lasts before needing a charge and offers all the bells and whistles you need in a power station.
