The Heybike Mars E-Bike comes with a 750W rear hub motor that offers peak output of 1200W. This little punchy e-bike was able to reach a top speed of 20 MPH in our test although Heybike advertises it having the ability to reach 28 MPH when you change the pedal assit settings via the Heybike App.

Depending on where you are riding and how much your using the pedal assist modes, the Heybike Mars 2.0 E-Bike has a range of up to 45 miles on a full charge.  Plus, a neat feature they added into the battery is a USB charging port to easily charge your phone mid-ride.

Heybike Mars Suspension Seat

They Heybike Mars 2.0 E-Bike come out of the factory with a suspension seat that has a pogo feel to it. When you sit on the seat it literally sinks down and then bounces back up to the proper height. When riding around on dirt and gravel this added suspension seat really made for a smooth, cushy, comfortable ride.

The Heybikes Mars 2.0 Foldable E-Bike comes with ChaoYang 20″ x 4.0″ Fat E-bike Tires. These ChaoYang Tires can roll over just about anything with ease and when combined with the suspension seat and front suspension fork offer a nice smooth ride with no vibration.

Weight

The Heybike Mars 2.0 Foldable E-Bike weights 75 lbs. which is a bit on the heavy side for a foldable e-bike. That being said the tradeoff is the 300 lb. weight capacity the bike offers. So you can easily ride with someone driving the bike and a second passenger on the back up to 120 lbs.

Although the bike is easy to fold, maneuvering a 75 lb. e-bike can be a bit awkward at first.  In theory you can fold this bike up and fit it in your trunk or the closet of your house for storage but again be sure to consider the weight.

Rear Rack

The Rear rack as mentioned above can hold 120 lbs. but what’s really neat about this rack is the slots that are cutout to accommodate a way to attach your bike lock or even water bottle along with a ton of accessories directly onto the bikes frame.

One of the cool things about this rack is just how tough it looks, think mad max cargo bike style and you’ll get a good idea to the style. It’s built well and can handle a good bit of weight at 120 lbs.

Heybike Mars App

Most e-bikes are starting to come with apps that can be paired to the bike and the Heybike Mars 2.0 is one such bike thanks to the ability to pair to the Heybike Smart App. This shows your battery level, allows you to get into the different settings to control the pedal assist speed and pedal assist strength. Along with the ability to track your location in realtime via a map.

The app is currently available for the following Heybike E-Bikes “Mars 2.0/Ranger S/Tyson/Brawn/Cityrun/Sola”
