prAna Becksa Bralette Yoga Bra Top Review
The prAna Becksa Bralette is a versatile bra to have as an option in your summer wardrobe. Wear as is to your next yoga class, pair it with baggy overalls, or dress it up for a night out. This bestselling bra has received small updates from past versions, while continuing to highlight that style can also be functional.
Material
The material used to create the Becksa is hands down delightful. Superb in softness, the ribbed material feels good before and after a long yoga class. Choose your favorite color from an array of choices, and feel inspired by these bralettes being composed of 42-86% recycled materials depending on which colorway you choose.
Style Details

This fitted bralette is quite different from its past versions. Prana raised the neckline to allow for more coverage, and a soft elastic band under the bra line holds the top in place. The length of this bralette is longer, which makes room for an interior mesh shelf bra that comes with removable pads. Another detail to note is the wider arm and shoulder openings, which has left those with larger breasts or wider rib cages to find problems with cleavage falling out of the sides.

Fit

As a woman with a small chest and athletic build, the overall fit is comfortable. The straps feel smooth on my skin and the seams do not dig into my torso. I tried an XS in this top, and although it fit, I would feel more relaxed in a S. The fabric is semi-stretchy, the razorback shape is timeless, but this bralette is too long for short torsos.
Other Prana customers have commented on similar issues with this top being a strange in-between size, along with the inconvenient lowering of the arm and shoulder openings for those with larger breasts. Yet, there are many who are very happy with the raised neckline and longer look. Mid-rise or high-rise shorts and pants would look best with this bralette if worn as is, or layering it on your next activity or outing.
Overall Impression
All in all, if you’re a fan of high neck bralettes and crop tops, the prAna Becksa Bralette ($65.00) is a well designed and cute article of clothing to have in your wardrobe arsenal. It’s made with high quality material, amplifies feminine characteristics, and can be worn in a multitude of ways. If you have a shorter torso or larger chest with the concern of it fitting strangely, it would be worth trying it on in person to avoid the ordering and returning process.
