VOITED Soul Slipper Review
When VOITED created their Soul Slipper, it was all about love. Your feet are your truest allies. They take the most abuse over your long hikes and blistering runs. You buckle them into rigid plastic boots, or force them to flex toe to instep to heel over and over, or cram them into tight climbing shoes where they’re supposed to support your whole body with one toe. They love you. And so they deserve love and comfort in return.
There’s no way to do that then with VOITED’s soft, warm slippers. Throw in their beefy rubber soles and you have the perfect way to kick up your poor abused feet after a day of adventuring.
Of all the gear we suggest, these just might be the ones you love the most. Just check out the details.
30D Recycled RIPSTOP

The outer is a water repellant 30D recycled RIPSTOP fabric, made to handle about anything short of stepping into a creek. The brushed fleece inner wraps your feet in a warmth like wearing sunlight on your toes. Though the memory foam sole completes the spa experience for your poor neglected pies.
Then there’s your soul’s soles. Big, grippy rubber beds, just as good for tromping over mud and dirt as for walking through snow. Just note they have no heel so when you’re stepping into the soft, step toes first.
Super Comfortable, Pillow Like

I first picked up my pair on the eve of a hut trip in the Centennials over one of the coldest weekends of the winter. Weighing in around a pound or so and packed down to nothing, they were an easy addition to my heavy pack. After hardbooting all day, there was nothing as holy feeling as slipping them on inside the warm hut. They were just as warm when I walked out to the patio behind to pour beer in and later to let it out. Unlike my other yurt booties, they didn’t slip on the packed snow, or the sugary cold snow, or the ice. When I wore them to the waste-hole in the ground, though, I discovered the one drawback: without a heel cover, they take that soft snow onto the back of your foot. Still, they were more than toasty enough for me.
In the summer they will be on all my backpacking trips. And for many of my hut trips still, heel or no heel. But I also love them sitting around my house, stretching in front of the fire after a tour in my beloved Tetons. They keep me protected when I run outside to stargaze, to grab something from the garage, to pee off the back deck. They are my most worn single piece of footwear, and likely will be until they crumble into the earth.
