Versatility

Multi Use Backpack

One of the most notable features of Ultimate Direction’s All Mountain Pack is its versatility. This pack can be used for virtually any activity you can think of. The pack comes with an optional bungee compression system, and ski hook and loop – ideal for ski mountaineering. These attachments clip onto the multiple hitching points found on the back and the front of the pack.

I love that these hitching points can be used for any of your own inventions as well. If you’re the type of person that likes making custom tweaks to your pack, the Ultimate Direction All Mountain Pack is for you.

Note: the attachments did not come with directions. I had to hop on YouTube to figure out how to put them on.

Construction

If a pack has the capability to be used for everything, it better be tough. The All Mountain Pack has you covered with its durable material construction. It is made with tough, water-resistant materials that can withstand even the toughest weather conditions. In addition to the materials, I love the cinch lid design which allows the pack to scrunch down nicely when it’s not full.

Fit

I found the Ultimate Direction All Mountain Pack quite sleek and streamlined, making it comfortable to wear for long periods. I also loved how adjustable this pack is. Both the waste straps and shoulder straps are highly adjustable allowing a custom fit and ensuring maximum comfort and stability while on the move.

In addition to the mounting systems I discussed above, this well designed pack has many other features including: hydration compatibility, easy cinch lid, ice axe compatibility, sliding rail straps, and compression molded back panel. The pack also features Ultimate Direction’s signature front pocket system ideal for your phone, maps, hydro flask and snacks. Ultimate Direction really spent the time to ensure all the bases were covered with this pack.
