The Wildhorn Radke Sunglasses are versatile, comfortable, and affordable. They look sleek and they feel great in all conditions. These biking glasses are great for anyone who are looking to upgrade without trying to buy professional racer glasses.
The Wildhorn Radke Biking Glasses come with three different lenses for different lighting conditions. Wildhorn offers several different kinds of lenses total, but only three come with each kit. With the kit that I tested, the Ice Blue lens had 23% VLT. This blocked a lot of sunlight I used for bright days on the open trail.
While the Amber lens has a medium blocking with a VLT of 35%. I used this lens in the mornings and evenings as the light was changing into or out of midday light. It’s a great lens for transitioning between trees and meadows. The clear lens blocks a minimal amount of light at 65% VLT. I found this lens to be good for dusk and dawn patrol ride or complete overcast.

Swapping out the lenses was a breeze on these Wildhorn Sunglasses. Much like swapping ski goggle lenses, there were solid snaps that you can hear when the lens is locked in place. Additionally, the frames have lower pieces that can be put on for a more solid build. This lower section allows prescription lenses to be put on as well. The nose pieces on both the full and half frame sections are adjustable, and they maintain their position when adjusted.
With three lenses and the options for full or half frame, this kit is a one stop shop. For me, this my go to MTB glass set. They look good and I don’t ever feel them on my face. The lenses are wide enough to give me great peripherals, but they don’t distort around the edges.
After taking several falls while riding, the Wildhorn Radke Sunglasses ($79.99) never got a scratch. I am pleased to recommend the Wildhorn Radke to anyone looking for an affordable set of glasses.
