Henty Enduro Junior Backpack Review
The Henty Enduro Junior is a good hiking and biking water source, plus a backpack, protection thingie. Sometimes I even use it like a water bottle when I can’t find mine. It is lightweight so you can have it on when you are climbing or biking, running, fishing and hiking. In my opinion biking is the best use for it. It sometimes feels like nothing is there and then you notice the hydration tube and get a sip of water.
Henty Enduro Features
(by Ryan Ariano, Jackson’s Dad)
Henty was founded by two friends looking to make a great garment bag. But given how their plan is to make life better and easier, and that they live in Tasmania, it makes sense that they’ve evolved to making quality active gear that “carry clever.”
The Enduro Junior is made to fit kids from 4 feet to 5-foot-7. It has a 3-foot hose with the bite valve and comes with its own 50-ounce HydraPak Compact Shape-Loc Reservoir. The easy open allows you to peel the top apart to fill the reservoir; then you slide the guard on it to lock it closed. The Enduro Junior is super compact but it still packs protection for your kid’s hips, without sacrificing comfort.
And it has 3 extra pockets to hold tools, a jacket, a map, a headlamp, an extra tube, and anything else little your grom will want to have while biking. So what did Jackson think?
Testing the Henty Enduro Junior

When I first saw that it had come in I was so excited to go on a run with my Henty Enduro Junior Backpack. My first run was so nice to not have to carry around a water bottle with me, and I could drink without stopping. I thought it was a good thing for me because I am a very active person and not having to bring a heavy back pack all the time is awesome. The only thing is at first it was a little hard to open the reservoir but eventually I figured out you had to remove the plastic slider and then peel it from each side.

Moving with it is easy to because of how light it is. When I took it biking, I hardly remembered I had it on me. For biking it’s easy to adjust the hydration tube so you can drink water easily, whether riding down or pushing it up steeps. It is a really good amount of water. I hardly ever finish it in one big day. I even recently used it as a water source to have next to me for a roadtrip to go camping and hiking. I then could just put it on when we went on some short hikes around our campsite. It is really a great all-around hydration pack.
And when I was fishing, I wore it on my back so I could drink water even while casting!

Overall Impression

I love to do stuff all the time. Running, biking, hiking, and even going on trips. The Henty Enduro Junior ($99.00) fits me really good, and is super light even though it carries enough water to make sure I do not get thirsty while I live my busy life.
My dad says I try to live a big life. So with such a big life, I need a pack that fits me but can keep up with me. Henty’s Enduro Junior has become one of my favorite pieces of adventure gear, and maybe the one I use the most since it fits all of my adventures. The Henty Enduro Junior Pack is made so I do not have to slow down.
