I enjoyed a dreamy morning paddling the glassy waters of Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park this past labor day weekend. I had the privilege of taking the Outdoor Master Chasing Blue All Round 10’6 SUP Board for a spin. The board proved to be an excellent all around choice for a no hassle mornings on the lake.

Under the feet, the Outdoor Master Chasing Blue All Round 10’6 SUP Board feels as if may as well be hard-top construction. There was no sign of bending when standing on the board, and its stiffness adds to a feeling of stability on the water.

This Outdoor Master SUP is durable, and we put this feature to the test while scrambling down a steep shoreline. The board showed no sign of wear and tear and we were grateful for the enhanced rail tape that lined the sides of the board as we knocked it around the hill side.

Portability

As far as portability goes, the Outdoor Master Chasing Blue All Round 10’6” SUP Board provides multiple features that make it easy to transport to and from the water. A carry-handle sits in the center of the board, and is surrounded by six other handles on the front and tail end of the board, which enhanced overall ease of transport. In addition to the handles, the board is markedly lightweight due to its single-layer PVC design – which uses Superlight Coalitional Woven Technology to shed pounds while maintaining durability.

When deflated the board fits easily into its carrying bag. This compact bag is equipped with wheels which is very convenient for use in paved parking lots or boat ramps.

The Chasing Blue All Round 10’6” SUP Board measures in at 10’6” by 34”; the wide platform and notable rigidity of this board makes it a perfect board for beginners and novices alike. Outdoor Master – the maker of the board series – designed the board to carry riders up to 230 pounds. Though we tested this board using a lightweight rider, the board’s 34” clearly enhanced its stability on the water.

At 6 inches thick, the board moves well through the water. Though it is not the quickest board, it does the trick for riders looking for some fun and leisure.

Cargo Space

The Chasing Blue All Round 10’6” SUP Board boasts two designated areas for strapping down personal items. With reinforced bungee straps on the front and back of the board, users are able to securely strap down and bring along any desired belongings.

Another feature worth mentioning, are the D-rings mounted along the side of the board. These rings make mounting accessories such as a seat available for interested parties.
