So, yeah, Kiehl’s, my go-to for skincare, especially when you’re getting blasted by sun and wind up here, they’re doubling down with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. It’s year two, and they’re now the official Skincare and SPF partner for 2025. Makes total sense, right? This is serious altitude and we need serious protection – and Kiehl’s gets it. They’re not just slapping a logo on something, they’re invested in making sure my skin stays protected.

If you’re wondering why skincare is so critical at altitude, we also spoke with dermatologist Dr. Chris Tomassian about protecting your skin at high altitude.

For a real-world product breakdown, see our in-depth Kiehl’s skincare review from a Jackson Hole local.

Kiehl’s Jackson Hole Partnership

Kiehl’s is upping their game all over the mountain. You can hit up Teton Village Sports, Jackson Hole Sports, even the General Store and Rodeo for restocks year round, and that’s huge. Plus, they’re even hooking the resort employees with some discounts.

“Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is thrilled to expand our partnership with Kiehl’s and welcome them as the Resort’s official skincare and SPF partner for 2025. Jackson Hole offers 4,139 vertical feet of rideable terrain, and with that comes exposure to the elements, whether it’s blowing wind and snow at the top of Rendezvous Bowl or bright sunshine from a bluebird day on the Casper Lodge deck. Kiehl’s makes sure guests keep their skin healthy and happy, and this new partnership will protect skiers and riders by making it even easier to find Kiehl’s premium skincare and SPF products on the mountain.”

“Given the high altitude, light reflection off of the snow, and ever changing cloud coverage, it is essential to reapply SPF and moisturizer throughout the day to keep skin healthy and happy, even on one of our signature snowy days in the Tetons.”

Speaking of that good stuff, I rock their Better Screen UV Serum – SPF 50 daily for protection and it even fights off the wrinkles starting to show, so it is not only for the sun, but it gets the job done all around. I throw it on my face, ears neck – you name it, keeps me protected all day. Then there’s the Ultra Facial Barrier Cream, which is rad for avoiding my face feeling like sandpaper, Ultra Facial Barrier Balm when the wind is howling. And it might be weird for dudes, but the Ultimate Strength Hand Salve is a must when your finger nail cuticles crack mid winter. And Lip Balm #1, well, that just goes without saying. Keeps my lips from chapping, no brainer! Although wish it also had some SPF protection too!

I will do a separate article on the Keihl’s stuff I use at home on a daily basis, video preview below:

Why Kiehl’s?

Kiehl’s isn’t just about slinging products, they’re about living life right, you know? Adventure, self-care, and taking care of the planet – that’s what they’re about.

Anyway, long story short, Kiehl’s and Jackson Hole are a match made in snowy heaven. I’ve been using their skincare products for ages and will continue to use them. You should check ’em out.

And while most visitors still associate Jackson Hole with winter, the mountain has quietly evolved into a legitimate summer adventure destination too, with the Jackson Hole Bike Park becoming one of the more underrated warm weather experiences in the Tetons.

And dig this, they’re taking that mountain vibe and bringing it to New York, of all places. Their Hell’s Kitchen store is getting a makeover, think mountain meets city. You gotta see it. They’re gonna be pushing their new Ultra Body Cream – which is clutch for staying hydrated in this dry air – and they’re also gonna have all kinds of interactive stuff, celebrating the JHMR partnership.

Of course, Jackson Hole still maintains its intimidating mountain reputation in winter — something we joked about in our 10 Reasons NOT to Ski Jackson Hole article — but that rugged mountain identity is exactly what makes partnerships like this feel authentic instead of overly corporate.
