The Puckipuppy Labrador Pro is a solid full-suspension e-bike that truly lives up to its adventurous name, hinting at a loyal companion ready for any challenge. But does this all-terrain marvel truly stand out from the pack, or will it get lost in the wilderness of options? I took the Labrador Pro out and tested the performance of this fat tire e-bike after putting it through its paces in various conditions, including the rugged start of hunting season.

RANKED FOR 2026: We’ve officially included this machine in our Top 5 Hunting E-Bikes of 2026 Technical Guide. Click here to see the side-by-side comparison for power, payload, and rugged mountain durability.

Full Suspension

The Labrador Pro distinguishes itself immediately with its full-suspension design, a significant upgrade for those who truly want to ride in rocky mountain terrain. The 130mm adjustable front suspension fork, combined with robust rear suspension, delivers an incredibly smooth and controlled ride.

From ripping singletrack to navigating old rutted out forest service roads, the full suspension absorbed impacts with ease, providing comfort and stability that hardtails can’t match.

Top Speed & Motor

Powering the Labrador Pro is a 1350W peak motor, a noticeable step up in performance. Classified as a Class 3 e-bike, it offers a throttle speed of 20 mph and pedal assistance that can propel you up to 28 mph.

The thumb throttle on the handlebar provides quick power, while the torque sensor ensures that pedal assist is delivered smoothly and intuitively for smooth pedaling. This makes climbing steep inclines and navigating challenging obstacles feel remarkably effortless, truly enhancing the off-road experience.

Battery Capacity & Range

Equipped with a large 48V 20Ah battery, the Labrador Pro boasts an impressive estimated range of 40 to 80 miles, depending on terrain, assist level, and rider input. This means longer rides and more exploration without worrying about battery range, a crucial factor for off-road adventurers or hunters who need reliable power for extended periods.

The integrated design keeps the battery neatly tucked away within the frame, contributing to the bike’s sleek aesthetic.

Weight & Payload

Coming in at 84.79 lbs, the Labrador Pro is a bit on the heavier side, as expected with a full-suspension fat tire e-bike. However, its impressive 400 lbs payload capacity more than compensates for the weight, making it an ideal choice for carrying gear, whether for hunting, camping, or daily commutes. The sturdy aluminum alloy frame felt incredibly solid and capable of handling significant loads without compromise.

The Labrador Pro is outfitted with a reliable 8-speed Shimano drivetrain, offering smooth and precise shifting across a range of gears. This, combined with the corrosion-resistant chain, ensures consistent performance even in challenging conditions. Stopping power is handled by high-quality hydraulic disc brakes, providing confident and responsive braking in all weather and terrain, a critical feature for an all-terrain machine.

The 26.0″ x 4.0″ fat tires are a highlight, offering exceptional grip across various surfaces, from loose dirt to muddy trails and even light snow. Their robust construction and aggressive tread pattern provide peace of mind for puncture resistance and unwavering traction on one of the better riding and handling e-bikes we have tested yet.

Technology & Display

The 2025 HD LCD Detachable Display is a nice addition, offering clear, bright, and easy-to-read information at a glance. Its intuitive interface keeps you informed about speed, battery level, assist mode, and more, all while maintaining a sleek profile.
